The 2025 edition of the Desert Trophy was a tremendous success. This extreme challenge has seen teams travel over 3,000 kilometres through the Moroccan desert, showcasing the remarkable efforts of two Mallorcan police officers who have delivered school and sports supplies, clothing, thermoses, caps, and blankets to families in need in the areas they have visited.
Local police officers David García and Juan Antonio Cerdeña have been part of the team representing the security forces in this unique adventure, which tests not only physical dexterity but also the ability to work as a team. Their participation in the Desert Trophy has demonstrated the commitment and courage of Mallorcan police officers in an extremely challenging environment, achieving second place in their category's classification.
